Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Raio operates a platform connecting merchants, couriers and customers for online ordering and delivery. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through the Raio Merchant portal, the merchant dashboard and related services.

For the purposes of the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) and other applicable data protection law, Raio acts as the data controller for the merchant data described in this policy.

2. Data we collect

Account and business data: business name, registration documents, address, category, opening hours, menu or catalog content, and the identity and contact details of the account owner and authorized team members.

Financial data: bank account and Pix details used for payouts, transaction history, commissions and statements. We do not store full card numbers; payments are processed by certified payment providers.

Usage data: log-ins, device and browser information, and how you use the dashboard, collected to keep your account secure and to improve the product.

3. How we use your data

To operate your store on the platform: publishing your storefront, routing orders, dispatching couriers and processing payouts.

To meet legal obligations, including invoicing, accounting, tax reporting and fraud prevention.

To support and improve the service: responding to your requests, measuring performance and developing new features. Where consent is required for marketing communications, we ask for it and you can withdraw it at any time.

4. Sharing your data

We share data only where the service requires it: with couriers (pickup address and order details), with customers (your public store information), with payment providers for payouts, and with service providers who host and support our infrastructure under contract.

We never sell your personal data. Aggregated, anonymized statistics may be used in public reports.

5. Data retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. After closure, we retain what the law requires (typically tax and financial records for five years) and delete or anonymize the rest within twelve months.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted on a need-to-know basis, and payout credentials are stored with additional protections. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you and the competent authority as required by law.

7. Your rights

You may access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing. Most of this is available directly in your dashboard settings; for the rest, contact us and we will respond within thirty days.
